Shipping & Dispatch – Busy Little Fingers

Dispatch Time
All orders are packed and dispatched within 3-4 business days from our warehouse in Western Australia.

During busy periods (sales, product launches or pre-orders) dispatch may take slightly longer.

Shipping Time (After Dispatch)
Delivery time depends on your location once the parcel has been collected by the courier.

Approximate delivery times:

  • Perth Metro: 3 - 7business days

  • Western Australia (Regional): 7– 10 business days

  • Interstate (NSW, VIC, QLD, SA): 5-10 business days

  • Remote Areas: 7-14 business days

Orders are shipped via courier and tracking details will be emailed once your order has been dispatched.

Please note delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays and other factors outside of our control.

For very large or heavy orders, we'll contact you before processing if additional freight charges apply — you'll always have the option to approve or cancel before being charged.

WA Metro

Perth metropolitan area and surrounding suburbs (roughly within 50km of the Perth CBD). Postcodes 6000–6199.

Interstate Metro

All other Australian capital cities and their surrounding suburbs — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart, Darwin, Canberra and the Gold Coast.

Regional

Larger towns and cities outside the capitals that are still serviced by regular courier routes — places like Bunbury, Albany, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Newcastle, Wollongong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Toowoomba, Cairns, Townsville and Launceston. Delivery takes a little longer, but couriers still run scheduled routes through these areas.

Remote

Mining towns, outback areas, far-north regions and locations without regular courier services — including the Pilbara and Kimberley (Karratha, Port Hedland, Newman, Broome, Kununurra), Mount Isa, Alice Springs, Coober Pedy, Broken Hill, and the Australian islands (King, Flinders, Christmas, Cocos, Norfolk). Parcels to these areas often travel by road train, freight handover or air, which means longer transit times and higher courier costs.

At Busy Little Fingers, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality sensory play products. Due to the nature of our trays, stands, and inserts, we operate a strict defects-only returns policy.

Please read carefully before purchasing.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect product selection

  • Ordering the wrong size or quantity

  • Minor colour variations

  • General dissatisfaction after use

Please choose carefully before placing your order.

Damage After Delivery

Our products are designed for supervised sensory play and must be used as intended.

We do not cover damage caused by:

  • Climbing, sitting, or standing on trays

  • Excessive weight on stands

  • Rough handling or misuse

  • Outdoor weather exposure

  • Harsh cleaning chemicals

  • Improper storage

  • Normal wear and tear

Damage caused after delivery is not considered a manufacturing fault.

Manufacturing Defects

If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Email clear photos and your order number

  • Provide a brief description of the issue

We may require the item to be returned for inspection before approving a replacement or refund.

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide photos of the product and packaging

Claims made outside this timeframe may not be accepted.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality.
